Costs
Many people hesitate to consult a lawyer because they are afraid of the cost.
Even if you have a low income, you should not be deterred from consulting a lawyer. You can obtain a voucher for legal advice („Beratungshilfe“) at the district court („Amtsgericht“) with little trouble, and then the government will pay your lawyer. All you have to pay is a fee of 10 €.
